SimpleCall’s Parent Company Places #13 in The Sunday Times Tech Track 100
LONDON — SimpleCall’s parent company, Zamir Telecom, was honoured by The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 league, this year placing 13th.
The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 champions the UK’s top-performing private businesses by looking at companies with 20-100 staff members that have achieved growth ranging from 35% pa to 360% pa in the past three years. These companies are generally owned and operated by entrepreneurs and achieve annual sales of £5M to £50M.
Zamir Telecom, a leading global telecommunications company, was founded in 2004 by Managing Director Naufal Zamir. Starting with just a laptop and a fax machine, seven years later Zamir Telecom is a global leader in the VoIP industry, and Zamir himself is on track to reach his goal of increasing the company’s sales five-fold in the next five years.
“At Zamir Telecom we have worked hard to be a global leader in telecommunications, setting high standards in our industry that we challenge our competitors to match,” says Zamir. “It feels great to be recognised for this hard work by such a well-regarded institution.”
Zamir explains, “Over the last three to four years we have researched and developed cutting edge solutions for consumers and businesses, and we have streamlined our products. With solid footing in a variety of markets relating to cheap international calling services, including virtual mobile operator, advanced calling card services and business communications solutions, we feel confident as we expand into emerging markets in Africa and the Middle East. These developing partnerships mean we are not only able to offer across-the-board savings in economies of scale, but that we are on track to reach £100M turnover by 2017.”
Zamir Telecom was also acknowledged as a Company to Recognise in 2010 by The Sunday Times Tech Track for its exceptional growth.
